During the fourth Cross-Strait Youth Culture Month, a series of employment and entrepreneurship promotion activities were held for Taiwanese youth, inviting more Taiwanese youth to participate in cross-strait exchanges, cooperation and integrated development.

The 2024 Jiangsu Province Support for Taiwan Youth Learning, Employment and Entrepreneurship Special Promotion Event held on the afternoon of July 23 attracted many Taiwanese youth to participate. Thirteen cities in Jiangsu promoted the employment and entrepreneurship environment of their respective cities. At the one-stop service desk, Taiwanese youth lined up to apply for mobile phone cards and bank cards, hoping to visit the mainland more often and seek more opportunities for learning and employment.

Taiwanese youth He Jiarui said, "I hope to have the opportunity to come here to study and exchange ideas. There are many employment opportunities here."

In the afternoon of the same day, the cross-strait youth group elite meeting was held simultaneously, which built a communication bridge for youth associations and elites on both sides of the strait. About 80 youth association elites from both sides of the strait conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the theme of "giving full play to the role of association elites and promoting cross-strait exchanges and integration". Six representatives of youth elites from both sides of the strait shared their insights and experiences from different fields, different growth experiences, and different experiences of participating in cross-strait exchanges.

Lin Bosheng, a guest speaker at the elite gathering of Taiwan youth and cross-strait youth groups, said that this place has the most complete industrial chain in the world. Since I am engaged in manufacturing, I will definitely have more prospects here.

Taiwanese youth Wang Houjie told reporters that he found it very interesting. The mainland is developing very fast, and the living and food are good. Coming here can help him communicate and learn more.

This year's Cultural Month is themed "Together, the Power of Youth", highlighting small-scale exchanges and experiential interactions, and will last from late July to early September.
