Roxithromycin is a semi-synthetic 14-membered ring macrolide antibiotic. Its antibacterial spectrum and antimicrobial activity are essentially similar to those of erythromycin.

Primary Indications

1. Suitable for the following infections caused by susceptible strains:

(1) Upper respiratory tract infection;

(2) Lower respiratory tract infection;

(3) Ear, nose and throat infection;

(4) Genital infections (except gonococcal infections);

(5) Skin and soft tissue infection.

2. It can also be used for mycoplasma pneumonia or Chlamydia trachomatis infection and Legionnaires' disease.

The Main Contraindication To Medication

It is forbidden for those who are allergic to this product, erythromycin or other macrolides.
